Version 2.0 of the Beacon Mission Map is based on the work that Jove of Entropiaforum did back in 2005, when he created the first beacon mission map. This updated version hopefully will clarify the depiction of multiple floor levels on a given room, teleporter directions, and the like.
The names given the rooms are completely arbitrary, based on my observations of the goings on in them as my Society mates and I went snooping on various robot craft. While they may not be definitive, if everyone uses a standardized set oof names, it may lead to less confusion during the 5 minute box opening spree!
Special thanks to My Soc mates in Dragons Shadow for enabling me to do the research for these, and poking their noses into danger for the sake of abstract knowledge!

So, what goes on in a robot spaceship?
Beacon Mission Map V2.0 Commentary:
Shuttle Bay
Your shuttle arrives and docks with its mothership. The hatch opens to reveal a ramp leading down into a small alcove. Slightly raised platforms in the NE and NW corners are accessed by ramps. The teleporter in this room has but one destination: up.
Power Plant
The teleporter deposits you in a rectangular room. A slight incline to the west leads to the next room, which is a large open circular chamber. The deck forms a circle here, with an impenetrable energy fence between you and the gaping opening in the center of the chamber. Beyond the barrier fence, a large glowing containment device can be seen below the ceiling. At the west end of the chamber, a incline leads down to a smaller room with a teleporter to the next level.
Supply Room
This level contains many partition walls, a couple of dead ends and often contains a large number of storage boxes. Often, this area holds the largest number of storage boxes onboard the spacecraft.
Smelter
The usual eerie hum of most levels in the spacecraft is joined by the heavy clattering of industrial noise here. Ore buckets travel on overhead rails to destinations unknown within the spacecraft. The smelter has three levels, all accessed by ramps. In the center of the lower level, a laser smelter emits a red glow as it processes ore. A small storage area on the NE side of the mid deck often contains storage boxes.
Drone Holding Pit
At first glance, this level is often confused with the power plant. A small alcove is located in the center of the circular walkway. 2 raised platforms on the north & south walls of the main chamber often contain boxes guarded by robots. A robot deputy commander may or may not be present on this level. The presence of the deputy commander on this level suggests that robot crew are stored here and dispatched by the deputy commander as needed.
Catwalk
Unlike other levels of the craft, the deck here is made of expanded metal, which affords a view of an inaccessible area below. The walls of this vast chamber glow with a strange rotating light. Sections of this level appear to have been made from mining operations or excavation. 2 raised platforms often contain boxes guarded by robots. Obstacles on these platforms negate the ability to run straight to the box or to fire on the guard robots. Elevated platforms in the main chamber often hold robot snipers.
Command Center
This large open area is divided by a deep pit running the width of the room, followed by a raised ridge. Two access bridges afford access to the ridge, and the northern area beyond. Two stanchions located on the east and west wall can be used as a ramp for egress from the pit if need be. At the north end of the room, a large star map fills one wall of a raised area. A sole robot is stationed here within the raised area, likely the spacecraft commander.
